Get started with booking forms

With the Viking 4.3 Booking form update, we changed from embedded booking forms to pop-up booking forms. Read more about the change:

Booking forms before januari 2020

We will not develop to the embedded forms anymore. Over time they might get outdated. We recommend installing the new type of pop-up forms or using links (see below 'installing booking forms on your website').

Setting up bookingforms

We've built Viking so you can adjust your booking forms to your specific activities. Also, you can build forms for partners and track their performance in Viking. Before embedding forms to your website, we recommend you read the following articles:

Installing booking forms on your website

We offer the following options to integrate the new booking forms into your website. Options 1 and 2 both offer the popup feature, option 3 links to a new webpage where the form is opened.

1. Install on your WordPress website

With the WordPress plugin from Viking Bookings, installing booking forms on your WordPress site is easier than ever.

2. Install with the script code

In all other cases, you use a script code to integrate booking forms into your website. For this you need basic knowledge of HTML.

3. Using links

Of course you can also link to the booking form without the widget code. The booking form will then be opened in a new page without the popup.
