Each booking form in Viking has its own Booking form URL.
For most schools with a website, we recommend installing the Viking booking widget and then using the Booking form URL for buttons and links on that website.
You can also use the Booking form URL directly without integrating Viking into a website. This is useful if you do not have a website or mainly take bookings through channels such as social media.
Get the Booking form URL
Go to Settings → Booking Forms.
Open the booking form you want to use.
Scroll all the way down to Booking form URL and copy the URL.
Use links from a booking form group
If you use a booking form group, you can link to:
- the group overview page;
- a specific booking form within the group.
A direct link to a specific booking form is useful when the customer already knows which activity they want to book.
Because the form is still part of the group flow, customers can use Add another booking later and return to the group overview page.
For more information, see Set up a booking form group.
Use booking form links on your website
If you have a website, first install the Viking booking widget.
After the widget is installed, you can use a Booking form URL on buttons and links on your website. The widget uses that URL to open the correct booking form.
For example, you can link:
- a Book now button to your main booking form;
- a Book a kitesurf lesson button to a specific booking form;
- activity-specific buttons to booking forms inside a booking form group.
For installation instructions, see Install booking forms with the widget script or Install booking forms on WordPress.
Use a Booking form URL without a website
You can also share the Booking form URL directly.
This is useful when:
- you do not have a website;
- you mainly communicate through social media;
- you want to send customers directly to a booking form by email or message;
- you want to place a booking link on an external platform.
When customers open the link directly, Viking opens the booking form on its own page.
No website integration is required for this use case.
Test the link
After adding or sharing a Booking form URL:
- Open the link.
- Check that the correct booking form opens.
- Verify that the expected products and settings are shown.
- If the link is used on your website, also test that it opens correctly through the installed Viking widget.
